Problems with Streamtime API

Since early December a number of issues has been reported with reports failing to run in wayahead. This is caused by a problem in the Streamtime database, not a problem in wayahead.

These problems are related to retrieving time entry data only and occur regularly, but not consistently. That explains why sometimes reports will run fine, while other times they fail. It also explains why you might not have received your utilisation or management report.

The issue is not isolated to the Streamtime API, but will also occur inside the Streamtime application, where you might experience very long loading times when scrolling in the To Do's list er even see timeout errors like the error below.

In the wayahead application, you'll see an error like this or an error that also mentions that "The request could not be satisfied".

Once again, the issues are isolated to timesheets reports, so these include the weekly utilisation reports, slacker emails, monthly management report, utilisation on screen, utilisation trends and so on.

Reports, such as the Forecast report, Items report, Finance report, Invoice report or Annual Revenue,... are not affected.

Streamtime are aware of the issue and they are trying to address it as a #1 priority, however until they do.

While it is very frustrating seeing the errors pop up in wayahead and not being able to do anything about it, all I can do for now is to follow this up closely with the Streamtime development team and to keep you updated on their progress.
